Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities

DARIAH-DE (Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities) is an initiative aimed at establishing and expanding a digital research infrastructure for the arts and humanities. DARIAH-DE provides tools, services and exchange formats for digitally supported research, thereby supporting the community working with digital methods and processes. As a partner in DARIAH-EU, DARIAH-DE contributes to bundling and networking state-of-the-art activities in the digital humanities throughout Europe.

Verein Geistes- und kulturwissenschaftliche Forschungsinfrastrukturen e.V. (GKFI)

Since 2021, DARIAH-DE’s activities have been coordinated and continued by the association Verein Geistes- und kulturwissenschaftliche Forschungsinfrastrukturen e.V., which was formed as a successor to TextGrid e.V. In addition, various parts of DARIAH-DE’s services are embedded within the NFDI initiatives Text+, NFDI4Culture, NFDI4Memory and NFDI4Objects.

DARIAH-DE Coordination Office

Die SUB Göttingen leitet das DARIAH-DE Coordination Office (DCO), vertritt Deutschland im europäischen Netwerk DARIAH-EU und koordiniert die Tätigkeiten von DARIAH-DE. Seit der Projektförderphase DARIAH-DE I ist es an der SUB Göttingen angesiedelt. Im GKFI übernimmt das DCO weiterhin die Koordination der nationalen Tätigkeit und dient als Knoten- und Kontaktpunkt zu DARIAH-EU.
